Microsoft Remote Desktop doesn't support Retina throughput and scales the content by changing the resolution that is advertised. You can change this by setting the resolution of your display to a non-HiDPI resolution, such as literal 2880x1800, however everything will appear tiny unless you are able to directly set the HiDPI setting on the server which you are connecting to. Mar 20, 2020 Audio/Video setup for using Microsoft Remote Desktop on Mac to access Teams on remote PC I use a PC running running Windows 10 Pro 10.0.17134 as my primary system. When away from the office (which means all the time, thanks COVID-19), I use Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.3.8 on my Mac under Mojave 10.14.3 to remotely access the PC.

I just bought my first Mac computer yesterday! One hesitation I had when purchasing it was that I would not be able to remote in to the computers at work, the the apple store specialist showed me it had Remote Desktop Connection, so I was sold.

Well, I brought it home and tried to do my work, but the remote desktop is really slow compaired to my PC. I tried RDC on my PC to make sure it wasnt the server, but the PC was just fine so it has to be something with the Mac.

Slow

Does anyone have any suggestions to make RDC not lag? I really dont want to have to purchase an additional laptop to just run RDC to do my work from home.
