The subscription plans have changed for rekordbox ver. 6. (You can't activate rekordbox ver. 6 using a rekordbox dj license key. You'll need to start a subscription plan for ver. 6 if you want to use the latest version of the application.)

In rekordbox, expand the Beatport directory in the left browser. Find a track by using the search bar, or select from the categories within the Beatport directory. Right-click on the track you would like to use offline, and click “Store Offline”. The track will now appear in the “Beatport Locker” folder. Rekordbox is really the only choice for Pro DJ’s who are looking to make the most of music streaming. This is due to Beatport’s offline “Locker” storage. The Rekordbox software has a few creases that need ironing out on the library side of things.
FIXED
- Sometimes unable to start rekordbox.
- Unable to play or export tracks that are uploaded to the cloud using Cloud Library Sync from iTunes/Explorer/Inflyte in the Tree View.
- Unable to upload files properly if they have similar long names in Cloud Library Sync.
- Unable to display remixer metadata when searching Beatport LINK/Beatsource LINK.
- Potential crash when analyzing Beatport LINK/Beatsource LINK tracks.
- Sometimes Sync Manager playlist synchronization on Windows wouldn't work properly, causing playlists and tracks to be deleted from the device.

Note: If using ver. 6.0.0 or ver. 6.0.1, delete the following file while rekordbox is closed, before installing ver. 6.0.2:

- In order to use tracks from Beatport with Rekordbox DJ, you'll need a subscription to Beatport LINK. With that subscription, Rekordbox lets you stream tracks from Beatport. You can even save tracks in an Offline Locker if you sign up for a Beatport LINK Pro or Beatport LINK Pro+ plan.
- My process now is to find new tracks and then buy them at an online store, for example Beatport, if playing out live. Buying and downloading the tracks I actually want to play is purely because you need wifi to stream music. Also the annoying thing with streaming is the tracks loading on Rekordbox take double the time to load and preview.
Beatport Rekordbox Track Loading Error
- Sometimes the color for played tracks may be reset against the settings.
- Sometimes unable to install rekordbox.
- Improved stability and fixes for other minor issues.
